2nd Annual Lego Heritage Building Contest

For a second year, the Antigonish Heritage Museum is hosting a Lego heritage building contest. Do you love to build with Lego? Want to turn your skills into cash and other prizes? Then why not enter our contest?

There will be two categories (12 and under, and 13 and above). Multiple prizes will be awarded for both categories.

Criteria are as follows:

  • All submissions must be based on a heritage building in Antigonish Town & County (built before 1920); properties do not need to have formal heritage designation.
  • No model shall be shorter than 6″ in height.
  • Submissions must be received no later than 4pm on Friday, March 8th.
  • Submissions will be judged based on technical merit and attention to detail.

Anyone looking for inspiration for what building to replicate is welcome and encouraged to pop by the Museum Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm.

A public open house will be held on Friday, March 15th, at which time the winners will be announced!

Proudly sponsored by: The Heritage Trust of Nova Scotia, the Heritage Association of Antigonish, and Antigonish 5 to $1.
