Biography
Private William B. MacDonald was born in Caledonia Mills, Antigonish County. He was the son of William A. McDonald. Prior to the war, he worked as a lineman.
Private MacDonald enlisted in the 1st Depot Battalion of the New Brunswick Regiment on May 6, 1918. He was transferred to the No. 7 Canadian Army Service Corps. Service Co. September 11, 1918 and was discharged on February 20, 1919 due to demobilization.
