Biography
Hugh “Les” Leslie MacIntosh was born on September 25, 1925, in Loch Katrine to Alexander Duncan “Sandy” and Mabel (Stewart) MacIntosh.
Les enlisted in the Army on July 29, 1944. He served in England, Germany, Holland, and Belgium. For his service, he was awarded the France and Germany Star, as well as the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp.
Les married Marylyn Roberta Girling on July 18, 1959.
