Biography
Private Daniel William Chisholm was born July 15, 1892 in Middle South River, Antigonish County. He was the son of Flora and Archibald Chisholm. Prior to enlistment he worked at as a farmer in Middle South River.
Chisholm enlisted June 12, 1918 in the 1st Depot Battalion of the Nova Scotia Regiment at Aldershot Camp, Kings County, Nova Scotia.
After the war he worked as a lineman and resided in Antigonish and Guysborough counties.
