The Heritage Association of Antigonish, a registered Canadian Charitable Organization, was incorporated under the Societies Act of the Province of Nova Scotia on May 20, 1982.
Objectives
The objectives of the Heritage Association of Antigonish are:
- To promote and preserve a cultural understanding of our heritage within the Town and County of Antigonish.
- To preserve historical records and documents.
- To acquire by way of grant, gift, purchase, bequest, devise, or otherwise, real and personal property and to use and apply such to the realization of the objects of the Society.
- To buy, own, hold, lease, mortgage, sell and convey such real and personal property as may be necessary or desirable in the carryout out of the objectives of the Society.
