Biography
Allan “Dood” Bernard MacDougall was born to Daniel and Annie (MacLean) MacDougall in 1923 and grew up in Springfield.
Allan was a veteran of the Second World War. His brothers, Donald Howard and John James, also served.
He married Bianca Maria Bryon on September 28, 1948, while attending university. He graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in 1953 with a Master of Arts degree.
Allan later moved to Sydney and then to Ontario, where he passed away in 1964.
